آموزش قسمت دوم امتحان تافل

دومین قسمت در امتحان تافل قسمت شنیداری هست

که حاوی 2 بخش کلی هست .

هر بخش 1 مکالمه( با 5 یا 6 سوال) و 2 عدد لکچر (شامل سخنرانی و کنفرانس , و هر کدام 6 سوال) دارد .

اولین قدم در قسمت شنیداری تنظیم کردین صدا و آماده کردن برگه برای نوت برداری هست که در خلال امتحان فرصتی رو از دست ندهید .

نکته : همیشه در قسمت هایی که زمان براتون محاسبه نمیشه سعی کنید تا انگشتان دستتون رو ماساژ داده و مدیتیشن کنین تا تمرکز بیشتری رو برای قسمت بعدی داشته باشین. زیاد نگران سوالات نباشین . چون اگه مواردی رو که بهتون میگم رو انجام بدین , مطمعن باشین مشکلی در امتحان نخواهید داشت.

 

1.سوالات را بشناسید : قبل از امتحان به نحوه سوالات و نمونه سوالات تسلط کامل داشته باشید تا سر جلسه وقتتان را بیهوده صرف درک کردن دستور العمل های امتحان نکنید . لپ کلام اینکه وقتی که شکل سوال رو دیدین بدونین که سوال از شما چی میخواد

2.دستورالعمل ها را اسکیپ کنید : با این کار میتوانید تمرکز بیشتری  روی سوالات داشته باشید . بنابراین همین که دستور العمل ها ظاهر شدند آنها را حذف کنید و برین مرحله بعدی

3.لب هایتان را ببرید : ما ایرانی ها عادت داریم که متون را با لبهایمان لب خوانی کنیم . لطفا به هیچ وجه لب خوانی نکنین . انگار که لب هایتان از اول امتحان تا آخر آن بریده شده است و نمیتونین اونها رو تکون بدین . مطمعن باشین این تکنیک برای ذخیره کردن وقت امتحان معجزه خواهد کرد

4. درخت رو دربیارین :  قبل از پاسخگویی فقط یک دقیقه وقت بزارین که بتونین خلاصه  شاخه های درخت متن رو استخراج کرده وبرای خودتون نوت بردارین

5.سایر درخت رو حدس بزنین :  در حین کشیدن درخت تلاش کنین تا تمام درخت رو حدس بزنین . این کار به شما برای درک کل متن کمک خواهد کرد . هر چند نیازی نس که کل متن رو درک کنید

6.وقت اضافی روی سوالات خیلی سخت نزارین : و فقط اونها رو حدس بزنین . در آخر اگه مهلت اضافی داشته باشین میتونین دوباره برگردین و اونا رو جواب بدین

7.نوشته ها  رو نخوانید : به هیچ وجه کل متن را نخوانید . این مضر ترین کار برای امتحان شما خواهد بود

8.نمایشگر زمان بالای صفحه : حواستان به نمایشگر زمان باشه و وقت خودتون رو دقیق تنظیم کنین .

9.حدس بزنین : اگه دیدین که وقت داره تموم میشه و هنوز جواب ندادین . فقط حدس بزنین و برین

10.از شکل جواب دهید : بعضا نیاز خواهید داشت تا جواب رو از طریق شکل سوال بیابید . حتما به نمونه های انجام شده در ذیل دقت کنین .

Listening section directions

 

This section tests your ability to understand English conversations and lectures

You will hear a conversation and a lecture . you will hear each conversation and lecture once .

After each conversation or lecture , you will answer some questions . the questions might be about the main idea and supporting details or about a speaker’s purpose or attitude . answer the questions based on what the speakers state or imply .

While you listen , you can take notes . you can use your notes to help you answer the questions , but you will not receive a score for your notes .

If you want to increase or decrease the volume while listening , click on the volume is on at the top of screen.

You will see the icon of headphones in some questions . this means that you will hear part of the question , but you will not see it .

You will now start this part of the listening section

این قسمت توانایی شما را در درک مکالمات انگلیسی و کنفرانس ها را می سنجد

شما یک مکالمه و یک سخنرانی خواهید شنید . هر کدام را یکبار .

بعد از هر مکالمه یا سخنرانی به یک عده سوال پاسخ خواهید داد . سوالها بر اساس ایده اصلی یا جزعیات و متفرقات خواهند بود. بر اساس آنچه که گوینده میگوید یا اشاره میکند به سوالات جواب بدهید

زمانی که دارین گوش میدین میتونین نوت برداری کنین . میتونین از نوت هایی که گرفته این برای پاسخ دادن به سوالهایتان استفاده کنین . ولی هیچ نمره ای را برای این نوت ها دریافت نخواهین کرد

اگه بخوایین که صدا رو کمتر یا زیادتر کنین میتونین روی دکمه تنظیم صدا کلیک کنین

اگه ایکون هدفون رو روی سوالها دیدین بدین معنی هست که شما قسمتی از سوال رو خواهید شنید ولی صورت سوال رو نخواهید دید

توی این قسمت شما شاید عکس یک مرد و زن و یا دو نفری که در حال مکالمه خواهند بود رو روی صفحه نمایشگر ببینین و نه چیز دیگه . یعنی متن آنچه که مکالمه میکنند به شما نمایش داده نمیشود . بنابراین سعی کنین چشم خود رو از صفحه نمایش برداشته و به صفحه کاغذ خود دقت کنین . اکه نوت بر ندارین مطمعن باشین که قسمت شنیداری رو نخواهید تونست که جواب بدین

Well , then , why don’t you tell me what you heard about the project .

Ok . I know you said that we should chose a composer…..

Yes . that’s right .

Well , does it have to be a composer that we’ve talked about in class , or can it be a different composer /

I think the project’s a bit easier if you choose one of the composers from class , but you really can choose any composer for the project .

That’s ok … now what are you supposed to do for the rest of the project , after you have chosen a composer ?

The next step is to research the composer. I haven’t started the research yet , but that doesn’t sound too bad to me .

And what are you supposed to learn about the composer ?

 I know we were supposed to learn about the composer’s style … his style of writing music .

Yes , exactly

But are we also supposed to learn about him … I mean about his life ?

Some background about his life would be helpful, but really , the focus is on the composer’s style of writing is that clear ?

Yes , it is .

And now for the final part of the project , what are you supposed to do for the final part of the project /

That’s the hard part , if I understood you clearly in the class.

Well, its most interesting and challenging part I think ….

We are supposed to write a short piece of music in the style of this composer .

Yes , that’s right .

That’s a lot harder than doing some research . when you do research you just have to find things , but in this part of the project I have to create something on my on . I’m not sure I can do that .

I’m sure you can . keep in mind that it’s just a very short piece , but it does have to be in the style of the composer you have chosen .

That’s what I thought you said in class…. But it sounds so hard .

It’s a challenge , maybe , but I’m sure you will enjoy it once you get onto it .

Today we are going to be reviewing some information about the Great Lakes , and we are going to see that traditional beliefs about the Great Lakes do not reflect scientific reality . first of all , can you identify the Great Lakes on this map ? Hannah ?

Hannah :

Lake Superior is the largest and northernmost of the five Great Lakes . the two smaller lakes to the southeast of the other lakes are Lake Erie and Lake Ontario . the two lakes in the middle are Lake Michigan and Lake Huron .

Instructor :alright . now I am going to ask a question that sounds like an easy question but really isn’t . this deceptively easy question is , which of the Great lakes is the largest ? jack ?

Jack :

It seems like an easy question because , on the map , you can clearly see that lake Superior is the largest , and any almanac of world information lists Lake Superior as the world’s largest freshwater lake . but I know Lake Superior really isn’t the answer you want .

Instructor :

And do you know why Lake Superior isn’t the answer I was looking for to the question about which Great lake is the largest ?

Jack :

Yes , I think so . I believe I read that scientists who have studied the interactions of the lakes have found that lake Michigan and lake Huron actually interact as one lake .

Instructor :

That’s exactly right … so . in reality which of the great lakes is the largest ?

Jack

In reality , Lake Michigan and Huron together are one lake . you could say why Lake Michigan-Huron   is the largest of the great lakes and the world’s largest fresh water lake .

Instructor :

Ok . now , lets go over the arguments for considering Lake Huron and Lake Michigan one lake rather than two . pat ?

Pat :

Well , first of all , lake Huron and Michigan are at the same elevation , and they are connected by the Mackinac strait , which is also at the same elevation . if they were two distinct lakes , they might be divided by a stream or a river . however , the Mackinac Strait is not a stream or a river . instead , it is a body of water that is 3 to 5 miles wide m wider than most lakes .

Instructor :

That’s right .. so what does this mean ?

Pat :

Mackinac Strait is not a river that separates two lakes ; instead it could be argued that there is one giant lake , Michigan – Huron , and this one giant lake , narrows at the spot known as Mackinac Strait .

Instructor :

Not bad at all . pat . I couldn’t have done better . now lets see if some of the rest of you can match that . what about you Hannah ? what about the flow of water between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron ?

Hannah :

The flow of water between the two lakes can reverse . whenever there ‘s an imbalance in the water levels in the two lakes , the water levels can equalize rapidly . in either directions .

Instructor :

Very good , Hannah . and what does that mean ?

Hannah ;

That means that if the water level becomes higher in Lake Huron , water will follow from Lake Huron into Lake Michigan, and if the water level becomes higher in lake Michigan , water will follow from lake Michigan into lake Huron.

Instructor :

So the flow of water between the two lakes can move in either directions , from lake Huron into lake Michigan or from Lake Michigan into Lake Huron , and the water levels n Horn and Michigan will always equalize . what conclusion can v=be drawn from this information ? pat ?

Pat :

This means that the two lakes , Michigan and Huron , are , in reality , acting like one lake instead of two .

Instructor :

Exactly . you seem to have a good understanding of this material . I will see at the next session
